Network Planning Solutions is a Tier 1 provider of Telecoms infrastructure, delivering projects nationwide and abroad. We are looking for an accounts apprentice to join our finance team and begin a career in finance with a focus on accounts payable, bookkeeping and financial administration.
Wage: £15,704 for your first year, then could increase depending on your age. National Minimum Wage rate for apprentices £7.55 an hour.
Training course: Accounts or finance assistant (level 2)
Hours: Monday - Friday, 8.00am - 4.00pm. 40 hours a week
Start date: Sunday 26 April 2026
Duration: 1 year 3 months

What you’ll do at work:
- Purchase invoice inputting
- Sales invoice raising
- Wages summaries and reviews
- Bank reconciliation
- Supplier statement reconciliations
- Other administration duties as and when required
Where you’ll work: THE YARD, WADARD TERRACE, BUTTON STREET, SWANLEY, BR8 8DZ
Training: Apprenticeships include time away from working for specialist training. You will study to gain professional knowledge and skills.

What you’ll learn:
- Record transactional data
- Use the organisation's standard tools and processes to examine data to identify transactional issues such as reconciliations and inconsistencies between invoices
- Recognise and rectify routine errors, escalating as necessary
- Plan and review accounting and finance tasks
- Communicate with stakeholders to deliver accurate and timely results, avoiding jargon, using language tailored to the audience and different media methods
- Use finance and accounting software packages to accurately input and manage data to contribute to routine accounting tasks
- Handle data and digital technology in line with cyber and data security requirements, using data securely and safely, including backing up data
Training schedule: One day a week at the Orpington Campus
More training information: Apprentices will be trained in the office on practical accounting skills. They will receive day release in order to study for their exams.

Essential qualifications: GCSE in Maths (grade 5+). Share if you have other relevant qualifications and industry experience. The apprenticeship can be adjusted to reflect what you already know.
