Job Summary: Director of Finance and Chief Financial Officer – responsible for finance operations at school level while contributing to trust‑wide financial stewardship, compliance and long‑term sustainability during transition to Multi Academy Trust.
Responsibilities:
- Provide expert leadership for finance operations at school level.
- Contribute to the trust’s wider financial stewardship, compliance and long‑term sustainability.
- Work across both Lawrence Sheriff School and the newly forming Multi Academy Trust.
- Support leaders in strategic financial planning and decision‑making.
- Maintain strong interpersonal and written communication skills to liaise with stakeholders.
- Manage multiple workstreams and provide hands‑on support when needed.
