What skills and experience we're looking for

We have an exciting opportunity for a dedicated andproficient Finance Manager to join CE Academy. The Finance Manager is the academy's main financeadministrator and works in the CE Academy County office.

The successful candidate will:

Have a recognisable qualification in financialmanagement (or equivalent experience).

Confidently provide advice and guidance to schoolbased finance (but non-accountant) colleagues toensure accurate reporting and statutory compliance.

Demonstrate strong financial management and analysisskills with the ability to interrogate data and seekclarification where required.

Have experience in a similar environment i.e. workingwith remote teams and ideally having a comprehensiveunderstanding of the education sector.

Be able to demonstrate strong IT skills including Googleforms & docs as well as Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.and a mastery of bespoke software relating to the jobrole.

Have to meet the person specification and will berequired to apply for a DBS disclosure.
