Wage: £30,000 a year. Salary up to £30,000 depending on experience.

Training course: Accountancy or taxation professional (level 7)

Hours: 37.5 hours – 37 hours 30 minutes a week

Work: Most of your apprenticeship is spent working. You'll learn on the job by getting hands-on experience.

What you'll do at work:

  • Account preparation for various entities.
  • VAT return preparation and management accounts.
  • Self-assessment tax return preparation and assistance with MTD ITSA.
  • Aid in audits.

Training schedule: Accounting and Taxation Professional Level 7 – ACCA. This programme enables individuals to become fully qualified in a profession which is globally recognised and respected in areas of accountancy, taxation, finance and business.

Requirements:

  • Essential qualifications: AAT (grade L4) GCSE or equivalent in: English (grade 9/A* - 4/C), Maths (grade 9/A* - 4/C)
  • Skills: Communication skills, IT skills, Attention to detail, Organisation skills, Customer care skills, Problem solving skills, Presentation skills, Administrative skills
  • Other requirements: Funding for this apprenticeship is available for applicants aged 21 or under, as set out in government eligibility rules.

Our office is nestled in the heart of Didsbury, surrounded by parks, shops, and cafés, providing an inspiring and enjoyable work environment and ample parking is also available on site.
