An exciting opportunity for an IT Apprentice has become available at our world-class aerospace manufacturing facility in East Cowes, on the Isle of Wight. You will complete the Level 4 Business Analyst Apprenticeship Standard, and work across both our Osborne and Falcon Yard manufacturing facilities.

Wage: Competitive wage offered, increasing each year.

Training Course: Business Analyst (Level 4)

Hours: Monday – Friday, shifts to be confirmed. 37 hours a week.

Start Date: Thursday 3 September 2026

Duration: 4 years

Work: Most of your apprenticeship is spent working. You will learn on the job by getting hands‐on experience.

What you’ll do at work:

  • Support the delivery of the organisation's business and digital changes.
  • Work with the site’s IT Team to meet stakeholders' needs through business change and digital solutions.
  • Participate in on‐job and workshop training to meet the requirements of the apprenticeship standard.
  • Contribute to change‐management activities, providing analysis and recommendations to support successful outcomes.

Where you’ll work: Ferry Road, East Cowes, Isle of Wight, PO32 6RA

Training Provider: QA LIMITED

Training Schedule: You will work towards a nationally recognised Level 4 Apprenticeship certificate in Business Analyst, as well as gain professional recognition from BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT, for the Register of IT Technicians (RITTech) Level 4.

What you’ll learn:

  • Apply appropriate approaches to scope, plan and perform Business Analysis.
  • Communicate effectively with a variety of stakeholders.
  • Use structured investigation techniques to analyse business situations.
  • Create and analyse business process models to identify improvement opportunities.
  • Elicit, document and validate requirements, ensuring clarity and traceability.
  • Support cost/benefit analysis and impact assessment for proposed changes.
  • Present information appropriately to audiences of varying seniority.

Essential Qualifications:

  • GCSEs at grade 4 (C) or above in Computer Science, English, Maths and two further subjects.
  • Maths, IT or Computer Science A Level at grade C or above.
  • T Level in Digital at Pass or above.

Other Requirements: UK National Security Vetting (UKNSV) Security Clearance (SC) is required. Typically, a resident of the UK for at least 5 years is needed, but individual cases are assessed.
