What you’ll do at work: Based in our head office in Borough Market, you’ll have the opportunity to work in a diverse, multinational and sociable team. We are looking for someone who is keen to gain invaluable accountancy experience in an entry-level role and who enjoys a broad variety of work. This apprenticeship offers exposure to both Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) and core accounting activities, providing accounting support to our US Partnerships and Canadian Pathways businesses. The role will involve supporting month-end reporting, balance sheet reconciliations (including intercompany reconciliations), accounts receivable and accounts payable processes, as well as helping to produce management information used to support business decision-making.
Main areas of focus for the role:
- Processing accounting transactions for Canada Pathways and US Partnerships.
- Processing supplier invoices and supporting accounts payable activities, including preparing payments.
- Recording and allocating receipts and supporting accounts receivable processes.
- Performing accounting reconciliations of key balance sheet accounts.
- Supporting the preparation of budgets and forecasts.
- Ad hoc project work and process improvement activities.
