Wage: ÂŁ21,500 a year

Training course: Accountancy or taxation professional (level 7)

Hours: Monday to Friday, times to be confirmed. 38 hours a week

Start date: Tuesday 1 September 2026

Most of your apprenticeship is spent working. You will learn on the job by getting hands‐on experience.

What you will do at work:

  • Embark on a three‐year accountancy/taxation apprenticeship, and work towards a professional qualification while gaining practical experience.
  • Work with diverse teams across the business through six‐month placements while pursuing a fully‐funded level 7 apprenticeship which leads to ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants) status and is studied part‐time through Kaplan.
  • Select placements based on your interests and career goals, such as financial planning and forecasting, financial performance reporting and commentary, closing the financial accounts each reporting period in accordance with international financial reporting standards, and financial analysis and insight to help inform business decision‐making.

Training: Apprenticeships include time away from working for specialist training. You will study to gain professional knowledge and skills.

Training schedule: ACCA Level 7 Applied Knowledge helps you understand the role of accounting in the business environment, and develop the practical skills and techniques expected of an accountant working in business.

The Apprenticeship standard details the essential Knowledge, Skills and Behaviours that somebody would need to demonstrate to be successful in this job role. These include Business Awareness, Ethics, Communication, Leadership, Planning and Prioritisation and Problem‐Solving.

Essential qualifications: GCSE or equivalent in: x5 (grade 9‐4)

Desirable qualifications: Degree (grade 2:1), AAT Level 4 (grade Pass)
