We are an independent accounting firm in Horsforth, Leeds. The role will encompass on-the-job training and college day release and is suited for a candidate with a high level of numeracy and time management skills. Candidates should hold a relevant degree and/or AAT qualification with a sound understanding of practical accounting.
Salary: £23,000 per year (salary dependent upon experience and qualifications, ranging between £19,000 & £25,000 per annum).
Hours: Monday to Friday 9:00 am – 5:30 pm with college day release, 38 hours a week.
Start Date: Saturday, 1 August 2026.
Duration: 3 years.

What You'll Do at Work:
- Preparation of self-assessment tax returns
- Preparation of annual and corporation accounts
- Preparation of VAT returns
- Handle HMRC queries and correspondence
- General admin tasks as and when required
- Management of client financial records and bookkeeping
- Provide exceptional customer service to clients via phone and email
- Commit to personal professional development and share knowledge with peers
