What you’ll do at work:
- The successful candidate will join the central finance team for the Trust and provide support and advice to individual schools within the Trust.
- You will experience first-hand how both schools and central finance operate.
- You will be supported to do your accountancy qualification, receiving training and challenging assignments.
- Undertake monthly tasks as part of the month end process to ensure that internal management reporting deadlines are met.
- Preparation of monthly accruals and completion of account reconciliations.
- Provision of central finance support to finance teams within schools.
- Provision of ad hoc financial information and analysis to assist with annual reporting processes.
- Present a positive personal image, contributing to a welcoming school environment which supports equal opportunities.
- Contribute to the overall ethos/work/aims of the school.
- Participate in training and other learning activities and performance development as required.
- Treat all users of the school with courtesy and consideration.
- Any other tasks commensurate with the role as directed by the Executive Headteacher or Head of School.

Training: Apprenticeships include time away from working for specialist training. You'll study to gain professional knowledge and skills.
