About you - the ideal candidate
You will be someone who combines strong financial skills with integrity, initiative and a collaborative approach. We are looking for a candidate who can confidently balance day‑to‑day tasks with strategic thinking. You will ideally have:
- A relevant financial qualification (e.g. AAT Level 3 or equivalent experience) and GCSEs in English and Maths.
- Proven experience of budgeting, financial reporting, payroll management and use of financial systems and spreadsheets.
- Excellent numerical and analytical skills, high attention to detail and the ability to present financial information clearly to non‑finance colleagues and governors.
- Strong organisational skills, IT capability and the ability to manage competing priorities.
- A commitment to confidentiality, safeguarding and safer recruitment.
- Experience of working with Local Authority procedures, audits, procurement or school systems is desirable but not essential.
