Key Details

  • Wage: £15,392 for first year, may increase based on age.
  • Hours: Monday to Thursday 9:00 am – 5:00 pm; Friday 8:30 am – 4:30 pm (30 min lunch). 37 hrs/week.

  • Duration: 1 year 4 months.

Responsibilities

  • Preparation of Annual Accounts from start to finish, including company Tax Returns.
  • Completion of personal Tax Returns.
  • Payroll processing.
  • Bookkeeping, including VAT Returns and reconciliations.
  • Use of accountancy software (Xero, Quickfile, QuickBooks).
  • Ad hoc responsibilities.
  • Potential involvement in other areas of accountancy (the apprenticeship can be adjusted to reflect what you already know).
