Summary
Accountant assistant role to assist with accounting tasks. Duties will include: Updating and reconciling nominal ledgers activities and transactions maintaining the sales and purchase ledgers. Setting up and updating the cash flow report along with some general admin duties.
Annual wage Β£12,646.40 to Β£22,605.44 a year
Hours: Monday β Friday 9.00am β 5.00pm excluding day release for training.

Course contents
- Record transactional data.
- Use the organisation\βs standard tools and processes to examine data to identify transactional issues such as, reconciliations and inconsistencies between invoices.
- Recognise and rectify routine errors, escalating as necessary.
- Plan and review accounting and finance tasks.
- Communicate with stakeholders to deliver accurate and timely results, avoiding jargon, using language tailored to the audience and different media methods with an appreciation of the risks and benefits to the business of social media and other digital applications.
- Use finance and accounting software packages to accurately input and manage data to contribute to routine accounting tasks.
- Handle data and digital technology in line with cyber and data security requirements, using data securely and safely, including backing up data.
Your training plan
- The apprentice will get theoretical training with us working towards a Level 2 AAT Foundation Certificate qualification doing 6 exams and an EPA discussion, while gaining experience 4 days per week with an employer.
- The apprentice will gain a Level 2 Certificate.
- The training will take place at: London, SE14 5BE.
- The training will be 1 day per week at the above location.
