Location: HMP Pentonville (N7)

Salary: £57,790.45

Contract: Full Time - Perm (39hrs per week)

We are seeking a dedicated Site Total Facilities Manager to join our team at the category B male prison, HMP Pentonville.

Responsibilities and Role Overview

As a Site Manager you will work alongside experienced colleagues across a range of trades (Plumbers, Electricians, Carpenters, Painters, Cleaners, Administrators) to maintain a safe and secure environment for prisoners, staff, visitors and the wider community.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee day‑to‑day operations of the Facilities Maintenance Team.
• Lead and manage a staff team of 15+.
• Maintain budgets and ensure cost‑effective service delivery.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety and prison security standards.
• Coordinate with external contractors and specialist trades.
• Implement continuous improvement initiatives to support rehabilitation and positive change.

Qualifications

• Experience of facilities management.
• Experience of managing budgets.
• Experience of managing staff teams of 15+.
• Experience of operating in a Prison or Military environment – Desirable.
• Completed a recognised apprenticeship in a facilities / building services trade, or have two years of recognised experience.
• IOSH Qualification – Desirable.
• Good Health & Safety knowledge.
• Excellent organisational, time management and people skills.
