Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Project Interface Lead to join our team at HMP Channings Wood, a category C male prison. The role will act as the communication and coordination hub between MOJ project teams, contractors, stakeholders and GFSL operational maintenance teams to deliver expansion works and ensure smooth handover.
Responsibilities
- Act as the primary communicator between MOJ project teams, contractors, stakeholders, and GFSL operational maintenance teams.
- Ensure effective coordination, communication and resolution of interface issues to support successful project delivery.
- Facilitate collaboration across all parties and manage site‑based project interfaces.
- Mitigate operational risks and ensure continuity between project implementation and business‑as‑usual maintenance activities.
- Provide operational support to GFSL Supervisors and Site Managers, enabling informed decision‑making and smooth project handover.
Qualifications
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing project needs and schedules.
- IOSH certification.
- SMSTS certification.
- Experience working within a similar role in a prison environment (desirable).
