Location: HMP Feltham

Salary: £33,268.27

We are seeking a dedicated Plumber / Mechanical Engineer (Level 2) to join our team at HMP Feltham. HMP Feltham (A site) houses children and young people aged 15 to 18 years, while the B site is a Category C prison and a YOI holding young people and men up to the age of 30. Our Facilities Maintenance Team is committed to driving the smooth and safe operation of the prison, creating a safe and secure environment for prisoners, staff, visitors and the community.

As a Plumber / Mechanical Engineer you will work alongside experienced plumbers, electricians, carpenters, painters and cleaners, applying your trade skills to maintain and repair infrastructure, support safe operations and contribute to rehabilitation and positive change.

Qualifications

  • NVQ Level 2 in a mechanical or plumbing discipline or equivalent.
  • Good Health & Safety knowledge.
  • Excellent organisational, time‑management and people skills.

Benefits and Working Conditions
