Contract: Full Time, 39 hours per week, Monday to Friday, Permanent
Responsibilities:
- As a Stores Operative you will work as part of the Facilities Maintenance Team at HMP Norwich, supporting the safe and efficient operation of the prison.
- Your day‑to‑day duties will involve managing store stock, preparing materials for maintenance work, ensuring a clean and safe environment, and working alongside plumbers, electricians, carpenters, painters, cleaners, and administrators.
Qualifications:
- Fork Lift Truck Certificate
- Level 2 qualification in English and Maths
- Full driving licence, preferably with D1 HGV Licence
- Up to date First Aid at Work Qualification
- Good Health & Safety knowledge
- Excellent organisational, time management and people skills
