Location: Regular travel to 5 sites across the East of England (Norfolk, Cambridgeshire, and Hertfordshire)
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the day‑to‑day operations across five sites in the East of England, ensuring safe and secure environments for prisoners, staff, and visitors.
- Oversee and coordinate maintenance activities for a multidisciplinary team that includes plumbers, electricians, carpenters, painters, cleaners, and administrative staff.
- Develop and implement operational plans, schedules, and resource allocations to meet performance targets.
- Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations and organisational policies.
- Report on site performance, incidents, and improvement actions to senior management.
Qualifications & Experience
- Experience of managing multiple sites and associated budgets.
- Experience of managing staff and leading multidisciplinary teams.
- Experience of working in facilities management within a custodial environment.
- NVQ Level 4 or equivalent in a relevant subject, or completion of a recognised apprenticeship in the trade.
- Valid driving licence.
- Good knowledge of health and safety practices.
- Excellent organisational, time‑management and people skills.
