Salary: £39,579.20 plus £1,000 Recruitment Retention Allowance and a 5% Shift allowance

Responsibilities
- Assist in the maintenance and repair of electrical systems within the prison.
- Work alongside a multidisciplinary team of plumbers, carpenters, painters, cleaners and administrators.
- Support the safe operation of the facility.
- Contribute to the planning and execution of planned and preventive maintenance programmes.
Qualifications
- Certificate in BS7671:2018 (18th edition).
- Level 3 qualification in Electrical Installation or Electrotechnical Services (City & Guilds/EAL), including relevant NVQs and competency assessments (AM2/AM2S), for example: 2367 or 2357.
- Two years’ experience as a fully qualified electrician.
- Experience on commercial or industrial electrical systems.
- Good working knowledge of planned and preventive maintenance operations.
- Good Health & Safety knowledge.
- Excellent organisational, time‑management and people skills.
