As a Mechanical Supervisor, you will have the opportunity to work alongside and lead experienced and passionate colleagues from a variety of trades such as plumbers, electricians, carpenters, painters, cleaners and administrators.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage plumbing teams within a high-security facility.
- Ensure compliance with Health & Safety and Water Supply Regulation requirements, including Legionella L8.
- Coordinate maintenance and repair of commercial or industrial heating, water and building service systems.
- Plan and oversee project schedules, risk and compliance assessments.

- City & Guilds 6032 – Advanced Craft Certificate in Plumbing
- City & Guilds 5962 – Certificate in Advanced Craft Plumbing
- City & Guilds 6019 – Mechanical Engineering Services (Plumbing)
- City & Guilds 6288 31 – Heating and Ventilating Craftsperson (Industrial & Commercial)
- ETA Level 3 NVQ Diploma in Engineering Maintenance
- City & Guilds 6188 – Heating and Ventilating
- City & Guilds 6088 – Certificate in Heating and Ventilating

- A minimum of five years’ experience, ideally within a facilities management or secure environment, military, health or similar sectors.
- Experience with commercial or industrial heating, water or building service systems.
- Knowledge of Water Supply Regulation and Legionella L8 requirements.
- Good Health & Safety knowledge.
- Excellent organisational, time‑management and people skills.
- Demonstrable planning and project‑management skills.
