We are seeking an experienced Facilities Manager to join our team at HMP Feltham as a Senior Site Manager. HMP Feltham is a category C prison; the facility operates like a self-contained city, and the Facilities Maintenance Team is committed to driving the smooth and safe operation, influencing prisoners, employees and visitors, and the wider community.
We are a Ministry of Justice business providing critical and time-bound services to HMPPS, and we are looking for a strong Facilities Manager to join us in a Senior Site Manager role with a combination of the following:
- Responsibilities
- Support the safe and efficient operation of facilities within the prison environment.
- Lead and manage facilities maintenance activities and teams.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety and security requirements.
- Qualifications
- Experience of facilities management
- Experience of managing budgets
- Experience of managing staff teams of 15+
- Experience of operating in a Prison or Military environment – Desirable
- Completed a recognised apprenticeship in a facilities / building services trade, or have two years of recognised experience
- IOSH Qualification – Desirable
- Good Health & Safety knowledge
- Excellent organisational, time management and people skills
Holidays are 25 days per year plus
