We are seeking a dedicated Stores Operative to join our team at HMP Exeter, a category B adult male local prison. HMP Exeter runs like a self-contained city, it takes hundreds of people to keep it functioning, and as the Facilities Maintenance Team we are committed to driving the smooth and safe operation. Everything we do impacts every prisoner, employee, and visitor, and wider to the families and community.
As a Stores Operative, you will have the opportunity to work alongside experienced and passionate colleagues who vary from Plumbers, Electricians, Carpenters, Painters, to Cleaners, and Administrators, all dedicated to making a positive difference, providing a safe and secure environment for all. Qualifications:
- Fork Lift Truck Certificate
- Level 2 qualification in English and Maths
- Full driving license preferably with D1HGV Licence
- Up to date First Aid at Work Qualification
- Good Health & Safety knowledge
- Excellent organisational, time management and people skills
