At DVLA, Software Development Engineers build automation software so teams can deliver products quickly and safely, and continually improve quality.
What you'll do
- As a Software Development Engineer you'll be a key part of an agile squad using a behaviour driven approach (ATDD) to ensure software is tested, testable, resilient and well-supported.
- You'll work on brand new or newly transformed services, and you'll:
- Build and execute automated test frameworks
- Work closely with product development teams in an agile environment
- Share good engineering practices and help raise quality across the team
- Collaborate with business analysts and delivery managers on user stories and tasks
- Help ensure services remain resilient and supported
Who this role is for
You'll be a great fit if you're an experienced developer who:
- Is proficient in automation testing and can programmatically test software products
