As a Data Lead within Working Age Services (WAS), you'll lead the development and delivery of data capability across a large, complex organisation. This is a strategic leadership role where you'll shape how data is used to support priority outcomes, working closely with senior stakeholders and multidisciplinary teams. You'll be responsible for building and leading a core team of data professionals, identifying capability gaps and implementing improvements across people, processes and products. At an exciting time of transformation, you'll play a key part in supporting DWP's move to a new "hub and spoke" data model, ensuring data is used effectively, consistently and at scale.
What you’ll be doing:
- Lead and develop a high‑performing team of data professionals
- Shape and deliver the data strategy across Working Age Services
- Identify gaps in data capability and implement improvements across teams and practices
- Provide leadership alongside senior data and delivery colleagues to drive joined‑up outcomes
- Work with senior stakeholders to define data needs and ensure they are met
