Help shape how government measures success for one of the UK's most important digital programmes. As Lead Performance Analyst on the Digital Identity programme (GDS), you’ll set the analytics direction and performance frameworks that guide decisions across products, workstreams and the wider programme, helping teams track what matters, improve outcomes for users, and provide clear insight to senior leaders across government.
Responsibilities
- Designing and embedding KPIs and performance measurement frameworks across multiple projects
- Ensuring high-quality analysis and good practice, including privacy compliance
- Bringing together cross-domain data to produce a coherent picture of performance
- Influencing programme strategy and roadmaps with evidence-based insights
- Communicating performance clearly to senior leaders in GDS and across government
- Line managing senior analysts and coaching analysts at all levels
Qualifications
- Strong experience leading analyst teams in multidisciplinary / agile environments
- Data analysis experience using SQL in a warehouse environment (e.g. AWS Redshift) and/or web analytics tooling (e.g. GA4)
- Confidence forming hypotheses, validating data, and turning findings into actionable insight
- Excellent stakeholder skills, able to tell the story behind the data and recommend next steps
