As an Associate Service Transition Manager, you'll help ensure new and updated services go live in a controlled and customer-focused way. You'll work closely with delivery teams, operations and stakeholders to prepare services for launch and support smooth transitions into live environments. You'll plan and coordinate activities, define acceptance criteria, and make sure governance, risk and assurance requirements are met. Your work will help protect live services while enabling continuous improvement.
What you’ll be doing:
- Supporting projects early to shape service readiness
- Defining and managing acceptance criteria and readiness checks
- Coordinating resources, timelines and dependencies across teams
- Managing cutover and go-live activities
- Working through change management to protect live services
- Producing key documentation (handover, support models, rollout plans)
- Identifying and managing risks and issues
- Supporting governance and assurance processes
Qualifications:
- Promoting service transition best practice
- Experience working with Agile or similar delivery methods
- Confidence working with a wide range of stakeholders
- Strong understanding of risk and service readiness
- Ability to coordinate complex activities across teams
- A structured, detail-focused approach
