Join to apply for the Digital & Data Standards Lead role at Government Commercial Function. This role is suited to an experienced commercial professional who is also digitally literate. You will be a strategic thinker, a problem solver, an excellent communicator and have the ability to deliver in a matrix environment.
Reporting to the Commercial Standards and Assurance Deputy Director, you will play a vital role in leading the delivery of Standards, driving adoption across the function through the Functional Convergence Working Group, reporting on progress to the DDaT Government Board. This role works very closely with the GCO Central Commercial teams, Departments senior leadership teams and with SROs, bringing them together to support enterprise and departmental leadership activities.
Responsibilities and Requirements
- Ability to analyse commercial digital risks and understand margins of error in developing recommendations for Customers and/or key stakeholders.
- Ability to connect strategic goals with day-to-day operations, balance competing priorities, and ensure clear communication with stakeholders.
- Take personal responsibility; challenge and hold stakeholders to account ensuring key messages are heard and understood. Create an environment that acts as a catalyst for continuous improvement.
- Possess strong knowledge of Government Commercial & Procurement policies/procedures.
- Proven commercial lifecycle and procurement experience, delivering value for money across public sector projects and contracts, demonstrating commercial acumen.
- Be able to demonstrate experience of developing and managing relationships with senior stakeholders.

Locations: GCO Pension, GCO Terms. Up to 15% performance-related pay available on accreditation.
