At Crown Commercial Service (CCS), we use our commercial expertise to support central government, public and third sector (charities and social enterprises) organisations the length and breadth of the United Kingdom. CCS is one of the largest procurement organisations in Europe, and within our Commercial Directorate we develop commercial strategies and work with our customers to purchase everything from stationery and laptops, to police cars and electricity.
The successful candidate will:
- Lead the Energy Specialist Service Team (inc. line management of three direct reports);
- Own (and continuously develop) commercial energy strategies in priority sectors - with specific focus on supporting mission-led priorities to identify and deliver outstanding customer value;
- Develop and manage strategic relationships with nominated key customers and sectors - providing commercial advice and guidance where required;
- Engage with potential new customers - providing commercial advice and guidance where required;
- Contribute to the ongoing development of the energy category as a proactive leader within the energy senior management team;
- Develop and manage collaborative relationships with key internal stakeholders within the energy team, the CCS Customer Experience Directorate, the Estates Category Group and any other relevant teams.
