Responsibilities include developing and strengthening partnerships with external agencies to ensure coordinated, multi-agency support for pupils and families. Inspire high expectations for standards of teaching, learning and pupil achievement. Lead with an uncompromising commitment to inclusion, ensuring equity of opportunity for all and actively removing barriers to learning so that every pupil can thrive. Uphold a nurturing, trauma-informed and aspirational culture where diversity is celebrated and additional learning needs are supported through high-quality, adaptive provision. Promote wellbeing, emotional literacy and resilience across the whole school. Lead and strategically develop the three resourced provisions, ensuring tailored, effective and fully integrated support for pupils with additional learning needs. Champion outdoor learning and innovative, engaging teaching practices. Sustain and further develop the school's many strengths while driving future improvement, effectively manage and lead the enhanced safeguarding culture and procedures throughout the school. Lead with positivity, compassion and a sense of humour; provide strong, inspiring and strategic leadership that motivates pupils, staff and the wider school community; advocate a culture of teamwork, mutual support and professional collaboration across the whole school and beyond.
