Salary: MAT Grade 6/7 points 23-25 Β£34,434-Β£36,363 (Β£29,881- Β£32,272 pro rata)

What are we looking for?
The Governing Body of The Prescot School wish to appoint two suitably qualified, highly motivated and outstanding Higher Level Teaching Assistants to provide speech and language intervention and support in both Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 on a 1:1 or small group basis.
The responsibility of the HLTA will be supporting students across all year groups who have been identified by leaders as requiring additional support in relation to speech and language skills. This includes administration of diagnostic assessments and ongoing assessment of progress.
The successful candidates must be educated to at least grade 5/C in English and Maths GCSE. Experience of working with young people in an educational capacity would be beneficial, and experience of tutoring and/or teaching is preferred. We would welcome applications from English graduates and/or aspirant teachers, though a degree is not an essential requirement. Please note that the role will not contribute towards ECT induction.
