The Governing Body of Croesty Primary School wish to appoint an enthusiastic, conscientious, and caring Learning Support Officer to join a highly motivated and friendly teaching team. We are looking for a Learning Support Officer, as well as a Learning Support Officer who could work as a Cover Supervisor.

Our support staff are a vital part of our classroom teams and many of them also work as Cover Supervisors on a relief basis for part of the week providing PPA cover. Therefore, we are interested in candidates who would also be confident and willing to undertake this work when required.

We are considering appointments for more than one position within the school, so are interested in applications from candidates with experience of different ages within the primary range. We are committed to ensuring that our staff are given opportunities to build on their existing interests, skills and experience and become valued and active members of our school community.

The ability to greet customers through the medium of Welsh is a requirement for this post. Protecting children, young people or adults at risk is a core responsibility of all council employees. An Enhanced with Children's Barred list criminal records check by the Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) is a requirement for this post.
