Job Type: Temporary for 6 months

Normal working hours - 40 hours a week

The HOME Team Ltd, which is part of the Govan Housing Group, requires an experienced Handyman with full clean driving licence to join the team who is hard working, flexible, willing to take on new tasks, can work well as part of a team, be reliable, enthusiastic and willing to do a good job.

With at least 3 years experience as a Handyperson or similar, you will be highly skilled and experienced in jobbing skills across the board, including joinery, plumbing, painting and plastering.

As our Handyperson you will need to demonstrate your work experience will allow you to meet the duties of the post which includes:

  • Opening up external gyproc walls with a multi tool,
  • Removal of wool from affected walls,
  • Brandering the opening with timbers and replacing gyproc,
  • Filling joints as required.

You’ll also have strong communication skills and good organisational ability. You will have a can-do attitude and experience in delivering high quality of work, excellent customer satisfaction and be able to easily work well using your initiative and also as part of a team. A driving licence and CSCS card are essential.
