Housing Assistant – Permanent Post Govan Housing Association is a community-based housing association operating in the central Govan area.
The Association manage approximately 1638 tenanted properties.
The Housing Association is parent of a group structure in which we have two subsidiaries, the HOME Team and Water Row Company.
The subsidiaries include a multi trade company, factored properties, mid-market rents and money advice services.
We are dedicated to community regeneration and improving the quality of life within our local community area.
We are seeking a Housing Assistant to support our Housing Team with day-to-day housing management activities and administration.
You will have a minimum of one year's recent experience of working within a Housing Association or Local Authority Housing Management department, with an awareness of arrears management, anti-social behaviour complaints, voids, waiting list and allocations.
You will be responsible for listening to our customers to deliver high quality, flexible and supportive housing management and tenancy support services which are forward thinking, and which build on our success.
You will have excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills along with a commitment to team working, providing general operational and administrative support to our Housing Team.
This role offers a competitive salary, and in addition, you will receive an excellent working benefits package which includes 25 days annual leave, plus 15 days public holidays, contributory pension scheme, Westfield health rewards and cycle to work scheme.
