Job Description

Estates Labourer

Full-time, Permanent

Salary £25,736 – £26,976

Normal working hours – 40 hours a week

The HOME Team Ltd, which is part of the Govan Housing Group, requires a quality Estates Labourer to join the team. Full, clean driving licence is essential for the post.

 

Main Duties and responsibilities will include but are not limited to:-

·       Carrying out day to day labouring, landscaping and estate caretaking works to a high standard of workmanship, carrying out property and estate management patrols and inspections, cleaning and improving back court areas and bin areas, assisting with the maintenance of all landscaped areas, clearing and cleaning empty void properties, graffiti removal etc.

·       Assisting with interpreting works orders by inspecting and assessing labouring and estate caretaking works required in line with the HOME Team’s policies and undertaking those works required.

·       Assisting with undertaking work within occupied flats where challenging lifestyles could result in poor levels of cleanliness and hygiene and sometimes major disrepair.

·       Provide information, advice and assistance with routine enquiries from service users and partners.

·       Accompany staff as required on estate visits and other housing and repairs related matters.

 

Skills and Experience Required: –

·       Full clean driving licence is essential

·       Experienced Estates Labourer with expertise of similar roles to do the job well

·       Work well as part of a team, and be reliable, enthusiastic and willing to do a good job.
