Wellness Community Hub

Full time Ref: 20261683 Opened: 05/10/2026 Closes: 05/11/2026

About Us

We are transforming Guernsey's wellness economy through an innovative, community-driven retail and holistic health platform based on Fountain Street, St Peter Port. Operating across multiple verticals, including our zero-waste bulk store, organic eatery, subscription marketplace, and regional wholesale distribution, our mission is to democratise access to zero-processed, nutrient-dense foods and holistic living.

By leveraging an access-based subscription model and direct-from-source procurement across Europe and Asia, we provide high-quality whole foods to our community at near-cost margins.

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly organised, multilingual Account Manager to oversee core financial operations, global supplier networks, and system-wide pricing architecture.

In this dual-capability role, you will bridge the gap between financial governance and operational execution. You will be directly responsible for full-cycle bookkeeping, managing and supporting our offshore company accounts and team in India, negotiating with European and Asian wholefood suppliers in their native languages, and maintaining dynamic pricing across our web platforms and Point of Sale (POS) systems.

Key Responsibilities

1. Financial Oversight & Bookkeeping

  • Maintain general ledgers, accounts payable/receivable, month‑end reconciliations, and cash flow reporting.
  • Oversee, monitor, and audit offshore company accounts in India, acting as the primary lead and operational liaison for India‑based accounting and support resources.
  • Track recurring revenue streams from membership models and manage financial accounting for low‑margin retail operations.
  • Coordinate with local and international tax advisors to ensure compliance across all corporate entities.

2. Multilingual Supplier Relations & Procurement

  • Communicate directly with international growers, ethical farms, and wholesale suppliers across Europe and Asia in their native languages to negotiate pricing, terms, and freight schedules.
  • Source and evaluate European and Asian wholesome products, zero‑waste commodities, organic grains, pulses, seeds, nuts, and speciality wellness goods.
  • Coordinate ferry‑linked freight from regional hubs in the UK and France to support supply chain requirements and address seasonal produce gaps.

3. Systems, Website & POS Pricing Management

  • Maintain and update product pricing structures across physical POS terminals, B2B wholesale portals, and consumer‑facing e‑commerce websites using Odoo Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems.
  • Ensure real‑time inventory tracking, SKU catalogue management, and automated stock reordering through Odoo ERP.
  • Manage custom pricing tiers and cross‑promotional voucher integrations for local B2B partners, cafés, and hospitality venues.

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Minimum 3 years' experience in full‑cycle bookkeeping, financial analysis, or account management. Formal accounting qualifications are desirable.
  • Proven ability to negotiate and build professional relationships with international suppliers in relevant European and Asian languages.
  • Demonstrated experience managing, supporting, or monitoring offshore teams or company accounts in India.
  • Strong commercial knowledge of European and Asian wholesome food products, organic certification standards, zero‑waste retail trends, and bulk agricultural commodities.
  • Practical experience using Odoo ERP, e‑commerce management platforms, and retail POS systems.
  • Strong analytical skills, including proficiency with spreadsheets, cost management, and margin calculations.

Key Competencies

  • Excellent cross‑cultural communication skills and the ability to work effectively with international suppliers and remote teams.
  • Strong attention to detail, particularly regarding financial reconciliation, pricing accuracy, and inventory management.
  • Proactive problem‑solving skills with the ability to address supply chain disruptions, price fluctuations, and system issues.

What We Offer

  • Competitive salary, dependent on experience.
  • Generous staff discounts on organic whole foods, zero‑processed dining, and holistic community treatments.
  • The opportunity to play a key role in a purpose‑driven organisation focused on sustainability, heritage preservation, and community health.
  • Professional development opportunities within a growing business operating across retail, hospitality, and subscription‑based services.
