Job Role: Plumber
Location: HMP Erlestoke, Erlestoke House, Devizes. SN10 5TU
Salary: £36,066.96 per annum
Contract: Permanent – 39hrs per week – Mon-Fri
We are seeking a dedicated Plumber / Mechanical Engineer (Level 2) to join our team at HMP Erlestoke, a Category C, adult, male prison.

As a Plumber / Mechanical Engineer (Level 2) you will have the opportunity to work alongside experienced and passionate colleagues who vary from Plumbers, Electricians, Carpenters, Painters, to Cleaners, and Administrators, and others, who are all dedicated to making a positive difference, providing a safe and secure environment for all.

We are a five-year-old Ministry of Justice business and provide critical and time-bound services to HMPPS, and are looking for a Plumber / Mechanical Engineer (Level 2) with:
– NVQ Level 2 certificate in a mechanical or plumbing discipline or equivalent
– Good Health & Safety knowledge
– Excellent organisational, time management and people skills

Future Plans.
GFSL has been notified by it's shareholder (MOJ) that the provision of FM Services will in future be delivered by the private sector. This means that following a successful procurement process, GFSL's services will complete transfer to a private sector provider/providers no sooner than August 2027.
