Salary: £36,066.96 + 5% salary increase in recognition of shift and weekend working

We are seeking a dedicated Plumber / Mechanical Engineer (Level 2) to join our team at HMP Huntercombe, a Category C men's prison. As a Plumber / Mechanical Engineer (Level 2) you will have the opportunity to work alongside experienced and passionate colleagues who vary from Plumbers, Electricians, Carpenters, Painters, to Cleaners, and Administrators, all dedicated to making a positive difference, providing a safe and secure environment for all.

We are looking for a Plumber / Mechanical Engineer (Level 2) with:

  • NVQ Level 2 certificate in a mechanical or plumbing discipline or equivalent
  • Good Health & Safety knowledge
  • Excellent organisational, time management and people skills

Holidays are 25 days per year plus Bank Holidays, and a range of non-contractual benefits are provided.
