Salary: Β£37,870.30 per annum
Contract: Permanent, Full Time, 39 hrs per week, Mon-Fri with on-call
We are seeking a dedicated Carpenter to join our team at a HMP Erlestoke, a CATEGORY C Adult Male prison.

As a Carpenter you will have the opportunity to work alongside experienced and passionate colleagues who vary from Plumbers, Electricians, Carpenters, Painters, to Cleaners, and Administrators, and others, who are all dedicated to making a positive difference, providing a safe and secure environment for all.

We are a Ministry of Justice business and provide critical and time-bound services to HMPPS, and are looking for a Carpenter inc Locksmith with any combination of:
β Substantiated experience in similar role
β Be able to display competency in the use and operation of all associated power tools and machinery
β Basic IT skills including knowledge of Microsoft Office Excel and Word
β Knowledge of relevant health and safety requirements
β Up to date First Aid at Work Qualification
β City & Guilds, National Vocational Qualification (NVQ) Level 3 in Carpentry or an equivalent qualification or substantial experience
β Good Health & Safety knowledge.
β Excellent organisational, time management and people skills.
