Salary: £46,177.30 including £3,000 additional allowances
Contract: Permanent – Full Time Monday-Friday – 39 hours
We are seeking a dedicated fully qualified Electrician to join our team at HMP Grendon Springhill. HMP Grendon is a Category B training prison, while HMP Springhill is a Category D open prison, and they are jointly managed and maintained by the same facilities team.

We are a Ministry of Justice business and provide critical and time-bound services to HMPPS, and are looking for an Electrician with a combination of:
– Level 3 qualification in Electrical Installation or Electrotechnical Services (City & Guilds/EAL), including relevant NVQs and competency assessments (AM2/AM2S). Two years\’ experience working in a role as a fully qualified electrician
– Experience working on commercial or industrial electrical systems
– Good working knowledge of planned and preventive maintenance operations
