We are seeking a dedicated Stores Operative to join our team at HMP Send, a closed female prison. As a Stores Operative, you will work alongside experienced professionals from various trades, supporting the delivery of essential services within the prison. Your role will involve handling and managing store inventory, assisting maintenance teams, and ensuring a safe and secure environment for prisoners, staff, and visitors.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate stock records and manage inventory levels.
- Assist in the preparation and distribution of supplies to maintenance teams.
- Support the implementation of health and safety procedures.
- Collaborate with other trades to deliver daily operational requirements.

Qualifications
- Fork Lift Truck Certificate
- Level 2 qualification in English and Maths
- Full driving licence preferably with D1 HGV Licence
