Contract: Temporary (FTC until End of Aug 2026) â Full Time 39 hrs per week â MonâFri

We are seeking a dedicated CRED Supervisor to join our team at HMP Coldingley, a Category C Adult Male prison. HMP Coldingley runs like a selfâcontained city, with many people keeping it functioning, and as the CRED Supervisor Maintenance Team we are committed to driving the smooth and safe operationâhelping impact every prisoner, employee, visitor, and their families and community.
As a CRED Supervisor you will work alongside experienced and passionate colleaguesâplumbers, electricians, carpenters, painters, cleaners, administrators, and othersâdedicated to making a positive difference and providing a safe and secure environment for all.

Key qualifications and experience
Understanding of prisons and the prisoner working systems or a willingness to learn â Desirable
Understanding of how to use tools and equipment to complete smallâscale refurbishments â Essential
Knowledge of working safely and putting health and safety principles into practice â Essential
Experience in managing smallâscale refurbishments and projects â Essential
Experience of supervising staff â Essential
Selfâmotivated with a positive \âcan do\â approach to work â Desirable
Experience managing relationships with various stakeholders â Desirable
Trade or building qualification (carpentry, painting and decorating, plumbing, or electrics) â Essential
