We are seeking a dedicated Cleaning Operative to join our team at HMP Swaleside, a CATEGORY B & Adult Male prison. We work MONDAY TO FRIDAY as a supportive and driven family, working together to create a safe and nurturing environment. HMP Swaleside runs like a self-contained town that takes hundreds of people to keep it functioning. As the Facilities Maintenance Team we are committed to driving the smooth and safe operation, impacting every prisoner, employee, and visitor, and the wider families and community.
As a Cleaning Operative you will have the opportunity to work alongside experienced and passionate colleagues who vary from Plumbers, Electricians, Carpenters, Painters, to Cleaners, and Administrators. Qualifications
- Experience of working within a cleaning environment
- Knowledge of COSHH
- Knowledge of relevant health and safety requirements
- Excellent organisational, time management and people skills
