Test and Inspect Engineer β HMP Pentonville
We are seeking a dedicated Test and Inspect Engineer to join our team at HMP Pentonville, a category B adult male prison.

Salary
Β£46,775.42 + an additional 5% basic salary in recognition of shift and weekend working.
Contract
Full Time β Permanent (39 hours per week)
Key Responsibilities
As a Test and Inspect Engineer you will work alongside experienced colleagues from various trades to ensure safe and secure environments for all.
Qualifications and Experience
- At least five years experience working as an electrician
- Two years experience working in a role as a test and inspection electrician or equivalent
- Experience working on commercial or industrial electrical systems and catering equipment
- Good working knowledge of relevant health and safety requirements
- Strong communication skills
- Basic IT skills including knowledge of Microsoft Office Excel and Word
- Experience of working under pressure to tight deadlines
- C&G 2367 or 2357 (Electrical Installation)
- C&G 2391 β Electrical inspection and testing
- NVQ level 3 in Electrical Installations or equivalent
- 18th Edition
- Good Health & Safety knowledge
- Excellent organisational, time management and people skills.
