Location: HMP High Down
Contract: Full Time - Permanent (39hrs per week)
Salary: £46,775.42 + an additional £2,500 in allowances per year. Includes an additional 5% basic salary in recognition of shift and weekend working.
We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our team at HMP High Down, a category C male adult prison. Join a team that is more than just a group of colleagues – we work Monday to Sunday as a supportive and driven family, working together to create a safe and nurturing environment.
As an Electrical Supervisor you will have the opportunity to work alongside experienced and passionate colleagues across trades, all dedicated to making a positive difference, providing a safe and secure environment for all.
Qualifications- Five years' experience as an electrician or equivalent
- Experience working on commercial or industrial electrical, building services
- Experience of supervising staff
- Full driving licence preferably with D1
- C&G 2367 or 2357 (Electrical Installation) and NVQ level 3 in Electrical Installations or equivalent
- Certificate in BS7671 – The Requirements For Electrical Installations, 18th Edition
- Good Health & Safety knowledge
- Excellent organisational, time management and people skills
