We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our team at HMP Wayland, a Category C & Adult/Male prison. We are a Ministry Of Justice Business and provide critical and time-bound services to HMPPS. We are looking for an Electrical Supervisor with a combination of the following qualifications and experience.
Responsibilities- Supervise electrical maintenance activities within HMP Wayland as part of the Facilities Maintenance Team.
- Collaborate with trades such as Plumbers, Electricians, Carpenters, Painters, Cleaners, and Administrators to ensure a safe and secure environment.
- Contribute to delivering a safe and secure operation and support the rehabilitation and positive change mission.
- Five years’ experience as an electrician or equivalent.
- Experience working on commercial or industrial electrical, building services.
- Experience of supervising staff.
- Full driving license preferably with D1.
- C&G 2367 or 2357 (Electrical Installation) and NVQ level 3 in Electrical Installations or equivalent.
- Certificate in BS7671 - The Requirements For Electrical Installations 18th Edition.
- Good Health & Safety knowledge.
- Excellent organisational, time management and people skills.
- Holidays are 25 days per year plus Bank Holidays.
