We are seeking an Oracle Technical Support Analyst to join our team at GFSL. The role focuses on maintaining and optimising Oracle applications, supporting digitalisation initiatives, and ensuring data readiness and compliance for reporting and operational excellence.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and optimise Oracle Fusion/Cloud applications, preferably within a second line or specialist support environment.
- Resolve technical incidents, service requests, and change issues, including root cause analysis; collaborate with third party support teams.
- Manage Oracle security administration, including user roles, access controls, and licence assignments within a governed framework.
- Monitor system integration workflows, support interfaces, APIs, and downstream/upstream system dependencies.
- Maintain data integrity, troubleshoot data discrepancies, and support audit or compliance activities.
- Translate business requirements into practical Oracle configuration changes or technical solutions.
- Develop OTBI analyses, reports, and dashboards; work with stakeholders to translate reporting needs into analytics.
- Experience writing and maintaining SQL-based reports to support ad hoc analysis, reconciliations, and data validation.
- Apply IT security, data protection, and compliance standards consistently across Oracle applications and processes.
- Maintain user access management including roles, permissions, and licence allocations in accordance with governance controls.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience supporting Oracle Fusion/Cloud applications, ideally in a second line or specialist support environment.
- Hands-on experience resolving technical incidents, service requests, and change issues with root cause analysis.
- Experience with Oracle security administration (roles, access controls, licences) within a governed framework.
- Exposure to system integration workflows, monitoring interfaces, APIs, and dependencies.
- Background in data integrity, data discrepancy troubleshooting, and support for audit/compliance activities.
- Ability to translate business requirements into Oracle configuration changes or technical solutions.
- OTBI Analysis Reports and Dashboards development experience; stakeholder liaison for reporting needs.
- Proficiency in SQL-based reporting for ad hoc analysis and data validation.
- Knowledge of IT security, data protection, and compliance standards as they apply to Oracle applications.
