Electrician (Level 3)
Location: HMP Standford Hill
Salary: £39,579.20 plus £1,000 in RRA per annum and a 5% shift allowance
Contract: Full time/Permanent
We are seeking a dedicated fully qualified electrician to join our facilities maintenance team at HMP Standford Hill, a Category D & adult/male prison. The role involves working alongside experienced colleagues across trades to maintain safe and secure electrical systems.
Qualifications
- Certificate in BS7671:2018 (18th edition)
- Level 3 qualification in Electrical Installation or Electrotechnical Services (City & Guilds/EAL), including relevant NVQs and competency assessments (AM2/AM2S). For example: 2367 or 2357.
- Two years’ experience as a fully qualified electrician
- Experience working on commercial or industrial electrical systems
- Good working knowledge of planned and preventive maintenance operations
- Good Health & Safety knowledge
- Excellent organisational, time management and people skills
