Key Responsibilities
- Work alongside experienced and passionate colleagues (plumbers, electricians, carpenters, painters, administrators, and other cleaners) to maintain a safe and secure environment for prisoners, staff and visitors.
- Support the Facilities Maintenance Team in the smooth and safe operation of HMP Swaleside, ensuring cleanliness across all areas on a daily basis.
- Operate Monday to Friday, coordinating with other departments to promote rehabilitation and positive change.
Qualifications
- Experience of working within a cleaning environment.
- Knowledge of COSHH.
- Knowledge of relevant health and safety requirements.
- Excellent organisational, time management and people skills.
