This role is central to enabling the programme team to deliver agreed objectives, by maintaining accurate programme information, coordinating activity across workstreams, and embedding programme management standards.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • You’ll provide PMO support to a complex, multi‑workstream transition and close‑out programme, helping ensure strong governance, accurate reporting, and effective coordination across projects.
  • Working with the Programme PMO Manager and Project Managers, you’ll maintain programme controls, produce performance and financial reports, and keep key information such as risks, issues, actions, and plans up to date.
  • You’ll support programme planning, resource and budget tracking, coordinate meetings and documentation, and use data and digital tools to monitor progress, identify issues, and support informed decision‑making.
  • You’ll also work with a wide range of stakeholders and help share learning and best practice across the programme.

Essential:

  • Experience working in a programme or project management support role (PMO / project support / programme support)
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Project and other Microsoft Office tools
  • Good communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with project managers, team members, and stakeholders

  • Experience using data, dashboards, or digital tools to support project and programme reporting

This role offers an excellent opportunity to work within a high‑profile, complex programme, gaining exposure to governance, reporting, and transition activity within a public sector environment.
