We are seeking a practical and confident Handyperson / Maintenance Operative to join our team at HMP Parkhurst, a category A, adult Male prison as an Escort / Fabric Operative. We are looking for an experienced Handyperson to join us as an Escort / Fabric Operative with a combination of:
- Experience of prison environment (Desirable)
- Experience of use of hand and power tools
- Previous experience of working within a building fabric / Hard FM environment
- Up to date First Aid at Work Qualification
- Level 2 qualification in English and Maths
- Good Health & Safety knowledge
- Excellent organisational, time management and people skills
