Salary: £30,656.92 per annum

Contract: Permanent - 39hrs per week - Mon-Fri

We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our team at HMP Parkhurst, a high security, adult, male prison. Join a team that is more than just a group of colleagues - we work Monday to Friday as a supportive and driven family, working together to create a safe and nurturing environment.

As a Painter & Decorator you will have the opportunity to work alongside experienced and passionate colleagues who vary from Plumbers, Electricians, Carpenters, Painters, to Cleaners, and Administrators, all dedicated to making a positive difference, providing a safe and secure environment for all.

We are looking for a Painter & Decorator with a combination of:

  • A City & Guilds or NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Painting and decorating or equivalent (or significant experience/time served in a similar role)
  • Experience working in a maintenance team
  • An honest and reliable character, who can approach their work with a sense of purpose and pace
  • Good Health & Safety knowledge
  • Excellent organisational, time management and people skills
